CMF

Market Terms

We don't know everything about the markets.  We're just devoted to learning.  Taken from those smarter than ourselves, here's how we define CMF.

A Chaikin Money Flow (or CMF) is a technical analysis indicator that is used to measure the Money Flow Volume over a set time-period.  Money Flow Volume is a metric used to determine the buying/selling pressure on a security for a single defined period.  Any period can be used to determine this, but the most popular is 20 or 21 days.
